Residential Construction Project Manager Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the entire lifecycle of residential construction projects, encompassing smart homes and renovations. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing every stage of project delivery, from inception to completion. This involves managing timelines, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring compliance with Australian building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, set clear objectives, and allocate resources strategically to meet client expectations and company standards.
  • Tender Submissions and Contract Negotiation: Prepare competitive tender submissions and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements.
  • Site Management and Supervision: Oversee labor, equipment, and material allocation across multiple construction sites to optimize workflow and productivity.

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of building codes and WHS legislation, and proficiency in project scheduling tools and construction management software.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of relevant experience in construction project management, preferably within residential or architectural housing sectors.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills; proficiency in project scheduling tools and construction management software.
