Job Title:

Residential Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of our residential construction projects in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Oversee and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify and address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to construction standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and participate in project meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with residential and commercial projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address construction challenges effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within the Sydney area.
