Job Overview

The Academic Experience Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing student experience through the delivery of various activities, events, and programs that foster engagement within university life.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can plan and implement a calendar of events for students during the academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Event Planning: Develop and execute event strategies to engage students and promote university services;
  • Campus Promotion: Contribute to the promotion of university services and initiatives to enhance student awareness and participation;
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Network and collaborate with stakeholders to provide opportunities for students, including partnerships with external organizations;
  • Student Support: Provide support and guidance to student clubs and societies, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clients in a customer-centric environment. They should also have skills and experience in planning large events, engagement activities, and working flexible hours throughout the calendar year.

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional student experiences and fostering a sense of community on campus. A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required for all University positions delivering education and/or services to children.
