Are you a skilled Lineworker looking for a challenging role in the electricity distribution sector?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lineworker to join our team and carry out all functions associated with construction, maintenance, metering, servicing, fault and emergency restoration of our electricity distribution system.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical skills and attention to detail. As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for carrying out various activities including:

  • Construction, maintenance, metering, and servicing of our electricity distribution system
  • Fault and emergency restoration work to ensure safe and reliable supply of electricity
  • Operating and maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Carrying out construction, maintenance, metering, and servicing activities on our electricity distribution system
  • Undertaking fault and emergency restoration work to ensure the safe and reliable supply of electricity
  • Operating and maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or previous equivalent (mandatory)
  • Heavy Vehicle Licence - HR (mandatory)
  • Switching training / authority (optional)
  • Glove & Barrier (optional)
