About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our facilities, equipment, and environment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to review current processes and implement best practice models for facilities management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage maintenance and repair tasks, including coordination with contractors and staff.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive equipment maintenance schedule.
  • Manage insurance and landlord inspections, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide training and education to team members on facilities management and company values.
  • Prepare regular reports to provide insights into business performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven background in facilities management, preferably in a large distribution centre environment. You will have excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on health and safety. You will also have experience with building management systems and be able to work autonomously, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
