Senior Risk Manager

The Senior Analyst, Operational Risk role involves providing strategic risk management support to APRA's Divisions. This includes effectively managing technology and data risks, as well as embedding a desired risk culture by operationalizing APRA's risk management, compliance, and resilience frameworks.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the improvement and operationalization of APRA's risk management policies and frameworks, leading enterprise-wide risk assessments, identifying technology and data risks, and evaluating adequacy of existing controls.
To be successful in this role, strong skills in risk management, communication, and stakeholder engagement are required. The ideal candidate will be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance.
The role requires a working knowledge of risk management concepts and practices, ability to identify risks and provide practical business recommendations, and demonstrated experience in building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
