The position of Assistant Development Manager, Precincts is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an individual to work in the delivery of major urban renewal projects in Melbourne’s CBD. As a key member of the Docklands Precincts team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, cash-flows, and ensuring timely delivery against budgets.

Responsibilities will include preparing feasibility studies, administering development agreements, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, identifying, monitoring, and mitigating project risks, as well as delivering procurement and appointment of consultants and contractors.

This role offers a unique chance to grow your skillset and career in a complex stakeholder environment, with exposure to high-profile projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or other tertiary qualification in planning, engineering, property, construction, project management, law or finance
  • Previous experience working in a property related corporate organisation
  • Prior experience to project work and exposure to land development
  • Prior experience in the delivery of high-quality customer experience
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Some exposure to the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgeting, and cost monitoring using Estate Master software or similar
