Data Centre Technician Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technician to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality technical maintenance and customer service to our data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with customer equipment installations and ensure adherence to facility rules.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including cabling needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to Remote Hands Requests.
  • Support the Facility Manager with day-to-day operations and identify/resolve facility problems in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of data centres (highly desirable).
  • Hands-on experience with fibre optic cabling.
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • TAFE Cert in Telecommunications.
  • A Grade Electrical License (desirable).
