The Role

As Head of Data Science, you'll lead a talented group of Data Scientists and Managers. Together, you'll set the agenda for how machine learning evolves across the organisation, from proof-of-concept to scaled delivery, operational excellence, and ongoing innovation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and deliver the long-term strategy for Data Science in multiple areas of the business
  • Create large-scale ML solutions that generate measurable commercial impact
  • Lead ML Ops best practice alongside engineering and platform teams
  • Grow, inspire, and coach a high-performing, diverse team
  • Represent the function at senior executive forums, ensuring data science has a seat at the table
  • Translate complex technical work into clear stories that align with business goals

What You'll Bring

  • Senior-level experience in Data Science or advanced analytics
  • A proven record of delivering machine learning products in production environments
  • Technical depth across ML techniques, cloud ecosystems (AWS preferred), and ML Ops
  • Strong leadership credentials with the ability to scale and inspire large teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at executive level
