We are seeking a skilled Contractor Interpreter to join our team of professionals who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical/healthcare dialogues for culturally and linguistically diverse clients. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to interpret complex medical information.

Job Description:

As a Contractor Interpreter, you will work closely with our team of consultants to deliver high-quality interpreting services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing accurate and professional interpretations during medical/healthcare dialogues;
  • Communicating effectively with clients and healthcare professionals; and
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers License compulsory);
  • A current ABN;
  • NAATI Accreditation as an Interpreter in Tamil essential;
  • Professional indemnity insurance essential;
  • An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with diverse cultural groups; and
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
