Unlocking the future of rotating equipment and machinery requires a dedicated team of professionals with expertise in vibration analysis, lubrication, and thermography. Wood is seeking Condition Monitoring Professionals to join our Rotating Equipment and Reliability team based in Perth, servicing clients in the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.

As a Condition Monitoring Professional, you will be responsible for managing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies, including on-site data collection, analysis, and determination of recommendations for rotating equipment. You will also assist with RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) tasks, identify opportunities to improve client plant reliability, availability, and performance, and provide support, mentoring, and technical reviews for team members in predictive and preventive maintenance practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum VCAT1 certification with VCAT2 highly regarded
  • Engineering degree or trade certificate would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience of managing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies, including vibration analysis / lubrication / thermography / alignment and balancing
  • Recent resource industry experience in either Oil & Gas or Mining
  • Experienced in the latest data analytics tools and techniques, along with a good working knowledge of a wide range of rotating and reciprocating equipment
