Senior Landscaper Position

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Landscaper to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our landscape design, construction, and maintenance company, you will be responsible for leading our team in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Job Description:

  • Manage a team of landscapers, labourers, or subcontractors to ensure efficient construction progress.
  • Plan and manage project timeframes and materials to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Coordinate material ordering and budgets.
  • Participate in on-the-job training for apprentices and junior staff.
  • Read and understand plans and written procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality construction with excellent attention to detail.
  • Lead by example with a strong sense of initiative.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification (Landscape Construction – Cert III or higher).
  • Current NSW Driver's License.
  • Minimum 2 years of structural landscape construction experience as a qualified tradesperson.
  • Reliable, punctual, well presented, hard-working.
  • Motivation to move a project forward, eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, initiative, and ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to work positively within a team, engaging well with staff, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Physical fitness, good health, and core body strength.
