We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our regional sales efforts in North Sydney, AU.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business and expanding existing accounts in the region.
This is a key member role within our sales team, requiring a strong background in software selling, with experience working in a B2B environment in the Sydney market.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and sell at the C-Suite level.
They should also have a sound understanding of forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy.
The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with our Partner team, collaborating with different stakeholders to reach maximum account penetration.
Responsibilities will include strategically planning and managing accounts, effectively reporting on pipeline and forecasts, and leading pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have outstanding time management, written, and presentation skills, as well as experience navigating CRM systems (Sales Force) and having meaningful software experience from one of the following areas: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.
Additional responsibilities will include strategic collaboration, innovative thinking, and results-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Manage and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline and forecast
- Lead pricing and business terms discussions with large commercial enterprises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in software or technology
- Proven track record of success in a B2B sales environment
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Meaningful software experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
