Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Job Summary:

BESIX Watpac is a leading international construction company seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our QLD Construction team. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a critical role in assisting projects and pre-contracts with BIM workflows and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical BIM Processes: Advise on best practice technical BIM processes, across all project phases from concept to completion.
  • BIM Management and Execution: Implement and manage processes as per the BIM Management and Execution Plans, to achieve project goals and high-quality coordinated design deliverables.
  • Model Assessment and Audit: Assess, audit and federate models for project teams and provide reports on status and compliance.
  • BIM Information Coordination: Coordinate and review BIM information (including clash detection) and assist with project design coordination meetings.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to project teams in handling and utilising BIM information with digital tools.
  • Tender Documentation: Assist project tender teams in preparing graphical construction representation documentation and other design tender documentation.

Requirements:

  • REVIT & AutoCAD Experience: Established REVIT & AutoCAD experience, predominantly in the building construction sector.
  • BIM Process Implementation: Ability to follow, implement and improve custom company & project BIM processes with end deliverables in mind.
  • Australian Standards: Working knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and Drafting Standards.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including in relevant software programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM Collaborate, AutoCAD, Revizto, Enscape).
