This is a permanent part-time opportunity to lead a highly skilled and functioning team towards accreditation and excellence in healthcare delivery.
An exciting role for a Senior Manager to support Mitcham Private Hospital as the appointed management representative for the Hospital Quality Management System.
The Infection Control Coordinator acts as a resource for all clinical and non-clinical departments in all areas related to the prevention and management of infection control. Coordinates and implements the Infection Prevention Program in line with National program to ensure effective prevention and management of risk associated with infection control.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:- Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Identify and address potential risks across the hospital, leveraging expertise in risk management practices.
- Conduct thorough analyses of hospital processes and outcomes, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Implement strategies to improve staff education on quality and risk management principles, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Oversee compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless integration with organizational goals.
- Facilitate staff engagement in quality-related issues, promoting collaboration and collective problem-solving.
We are seeking candidates with relevant qualifications in a Health discipline, preferably with applicable Nursing AHPRA registration.
A minimum of 5 years' clinical postgraduate experience is required, coupled with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication, adaptability, and analytical skills are essential, alongside a strong understanding of quality management systems and internal auditing frameworks.
Proven ability to work within a team, autonomously, and under pressure is necessary, with excellent computer literacy, especially with MS Office programs.
