About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our production team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality control standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate receipting of all product movement to ensure stock flow is maintained.
  • Create and provide accurate quotes to customers to ensure competitiveness.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet customer deadlines.
  • Design staff day-to-day movements to optimize productivity.
  • Assist in coordinating quality control processes to ensure compliance.
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers to maintain product loads and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing assets in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Comply with workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing production systems to maximize efficiency.
  • Experience in scheduling production to meet deadlines.
  • Proven leadership skills in leading teams to achieve set outcomes.
  • Experience in coordinating maintenance and use of plant and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office and production-related software packages.
