Auxiliary Firefighter Role

This position is a key component of our emergency response team, working closely with firefighters to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in fire and emergency incidents as part of a collaborative team
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote community safety and emergency preparedness
  • Pursue ongoing training and development to maintain competencies and enhance skills
  • Meet attendance standards for emergency incidents and training sessions
Requirements:
  • Obtain employer's consent to participate in emergency incidents
  • Reside or work within a reasonable distance of the auxiliary fire station
  • Hold Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Possess a valid Manual C Class driver's license
