Job Title: Health and Safety Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Partner to join our team at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive health and safety culture across the Network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to prevent and manage risks.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees to ensure compliance with WHS legislation.
  • Analyze WHS data to identify trends and develop strategies to proactively address emerging issues.
  • Advise on and support the revision and development of WHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and monitor legislative compliance to ensure the Network meets the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in WHS and Manual Handling coordination, with a health science background and/or experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Relevant WHS qualifications, such as Cert IV or Diploma or above.
  • Proven interpersonal, negotiation, and high-level communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based quality improvement programs.
