The Role: Senior Flight Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to manage and guide a team of pilots at Cairns, Mt Isa, and Horn Island bases, operating modern fleets of aircraft.

As a leader of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet to ensure essential aviation support is provided to partner agencies.

You will use your strong leadership skills to oversee daily flight operations, ensuring timely and responsive services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide a team of line pilots
  • Oversee daily flight operations
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the fleet

Requirements:

  • Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
  • Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 renewals
  • Minimum 3000 hours total time
  • Minimum 2000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • Minimum 400 hours Night PIC
  • Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC
  • Minimum 400 hours Turbine PIC
  • Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
  • Hold a current Australian passport
