Executive Chef Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate Executive Chef to join our team and lead our culinary operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by upholding the highest standards of quality and service. This includes leading a team of chefs, developing innovative menu concepts, and maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Plan, supervise, and monitor the culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu ideas and recipes.
  • Culinary Leadership: Bring creativity and passion to develop new menu concepts and establish cooking standards within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Food Safety: Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with Compass Group's food safety program.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership to ensure food production consistently meets client and guest expectations.
  • Team Management: Responsible for designing and planning menu ideas, creating recipes, and establishing cooking standards within a high-pace kitchen operation.
Requirements:
  • Chef Qualification: Chef trade qualification with experience in a comparable multi-retail and function venue environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Drive creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Team Management: Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills.
