Contract Type: Part-Time Teaching Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. This is a Temporary Part-time position working 0.8FTE (Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri) for Term.

As a Primary teacher at our school, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of our students. We value creativity, flexibility, and the integration of modern technology to engage students and inspire them on their faith journey.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an educator who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students. You will have the chance to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the physical, social, and intellectual development of each student.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment and implementing fair and equitable behaviour management plans
  • Using student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance
  • Engaging with our school community to enrich the educational context for students and promote the links between school, home, and community in the social and intellectual development of your students
  • Passion for transformational education integrated into curriculum delivered in a faith-based environment
  • Well-developed communication, administration, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance)
  • Eligible according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete)
