**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Venue Operations Manager to lead the maintenance, facilities, and cleaning team at our premier performing arts venue in Western Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring the venue is fully operational to support busy programming schedules.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating and leading the building maintenance, facilities, and cleaning staff
  • Assisting and supporting the Operations Manager to deliver building and facilities services internally and externally to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating and supervising the maintenance, compliance, and replacement of building assets and equipment in accordance with current Work, Health, and Safety requirements and any other standing statutory requirements
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with external maintenance contractors, equipment hirers, council departments, and key stakeholders relating to the operations of the venue
  • Contributing to developing, maintaining, and promoting the venue as a centre of excellence in performing arts, events, and exhibitions in Western Sydney region

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Advanced building and facilities management expertise and experience including facilities coordination and asset maintenance and replacement
  • Experience in performing arts venues, exhibition spaces, hospitality, or arts and creative industries
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain effective interpersonal and professional relationships with staff and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of computers and all elements of Office 365 software
  • Unrestricted drivers' licence and access to a car

**Benefits**

We offer an attractive total remuneration package from $95,482.75 to $105,148.44 inclusive of superannuation. In addition, we provide:
