We're seeking a passionate and motivated Venue Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is all about delivering exceptional service, driving quality standards, managing a high-performing team, and overseeing seamless day-to-day operations with full accountability for commercial outcomes.

Role Purpose

As the Venue Operations Manager, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience by ensuring smooth venue operations. This includes leading a strong customer service focus, maintaining high quality and safety standards, managing and developing your team, and achieving key commercial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and ensure your team does the same.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming venue, clearly communicating roles and tasks to team members.
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Uphold high personal presentation standards for yourself and your team.
  • Provide service-based training and coaching to team members and leaders.
Product Quality
  • Ensure all food products are prepared in line with operational procedures.
  • Maintain high standards for the quality and freshness of ingredients.
  • Comply with all food safety standards and legislative hygiene requirements.
  • Manage food inventory to drive sales and profitability.
  • Fulfil all food safety supervisor responsibilities.
  • Foster strong product knowledge within the team through consistent training.
Operations & Leadership
  • Lead all aspects of the employment lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of open communication, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, stock control, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Ensure team breaks are scheduled within compliant timeframes.
  • Support venue business planning, local area marketing, and community engagement.
