Salary



This full-time salaried role offers an estimated annual salary of $85,000 AUD, taking into account the location and requirements of the position.

Job Description



As a Team Lead for our Proactive Services team, you will be responsible for leading a group of Team Members (between 10-40 depending on store size) in delivering trolley collection and cleaning services to a set store. You will collect trolleys from specific locations and complete daily tasks associated with store cleaning and waste management. As a leader, you will develop your skills by delivering people-related activities for your team and partnering with stakeholders to deliver exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities




  • Act as a coach and mentor to your team, developing their skills across trolley collection, cleaning, and waste support.
  • Set the team's roster to ensure coverage of daily tasks and operations.
  • Work in partnership with Store Leadership teams to understand challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
  • Interact with customers, which may include showing them to relevant shopping aisles or assisting in accidental spills.
  • Liaise between Support Office, Store Leadership Teams, Team Members, and Customers - excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.


Requirements



To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • A good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Confidence to engage and partner with Department Managers and Store Leadership Teams to plan and coordinate routines & timeframes.
  • Organisational skills to ensure your team has the equipment and consumables needed to work safely and efficiently.
  • The ability to work a variety of shifts, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
  • Comfortable working within regulated frameworks, such as Food Safety and industrial regulations.
  • A valid full Australian driver's licence, as some stores conduct vehicle street runs.
