Senior Quarry Planning Manager Role

The Senior Quarry Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the tactical planning and oversight of quarry operations, ensuring alignment with business strategy.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage short-term and long-term quarry reserve planning to meet production targets.
  2. Oversee geological assessments and collaborate with consultants to identify areas for extraction.
  3. Design and implement quarry layouts and resource extraction plans.
  4. Coordinate with environmental teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
  5. Prepare and submit reports and documentation to relevant authorities.
  6. Work effectively with site managers to plan project approvals.

Requirements for Success:
  1. Minimum 7 years in quarry operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  2. Strong understanding of quarry reserves planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Proven experience in managing large-scale operations and leading teams.
  4. Extensive knowledge of quarry planning legislation and regulatory compliance.
  5. Strong strategic project management skills.
