Inventory Management Specialist

About the Role
Sands Fridge Lines is seeking an experienced Inventory Officer to join our team in Western Australia. This is a full-time position responsible for managing and optimising our inventory to support the efficient operation of our logistics business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across our warehousing and distribution facility
- Conduct reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Forecast and plan inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimise stock holdings
- Coordinate procurement and logistics to ensure timely supply of goods
- Implement inventory control processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Provide reporting on inventory metrics and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist with the management of third-party logistics providers and suppliers
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an inventory management or warehousing role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with inventory management software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of purchasing, logistics and supply chain principles
- Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
