About This Role

This leadership position oversees hotel operations, prioritizing guest satisfaction and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with hotel teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment by motivating and inspiring staff.
  • Multitask in front-of-house areas, including service, food preparation, and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out processes.
  • Calmly resolve guest complaints, turning issues into opportunities for growth.
  • Assume responsibility when senior management is absent.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to maintain high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A natural leader with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and coaching team members.
  • Experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or Food & Beverage leadership (or a combination thereof).
  • Confidence in supervising and monitoring hotel teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, including hands-on involvement in cafe and restaurant operations.
  • Calm and composed under pressure, with a solution-focused approach to challenges.
  • Approachable yet professional, able to put guests at ease even in difficult situations.
  • Organized, proactive, and flexible with rosters, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems, particularly Opera (advantageous).
