Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished logistics professional to lead our warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, ensuring that daily activities are optimized, workflows are streamlined, inventory accuracy is maintained, and health and safety regulations are adhered to.

This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will provide guidance and support to warehouse staff and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager in their absence. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure seamless operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing contract logistics operations to maintain productivity and efficiency
  • Implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures to optimize workflow
  • Inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment
  • Maintaining accurate records and generating reports on inventory status and warehouse operations
  • Proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks
  • Leading and coaching warehouse staff to meet customer service level agreements
  • Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all operations

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Candidates must possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in contract logistics, 3PL or supply chain management with team supervision experience
  • Proven customer relationship management and contract administration skills
  • Familiarity with the logistics sector in Oceania, including local regulations and market dynamics
  • Large volume operational experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience
