About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer - Transmission Systems to join our Energy team. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution Practice, you will be responsible for delivering quality project outcomes on time and budget. Your expertise in HV transmission substation design, including low voltage control and protection design, will be instrumental in supporting our clients' ambitious transmission works program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver HV transmission substation protection systems, including low voltage control and protection design
  • Provide technical support and expertise to our clients and project teams
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement effective design management strategies

Requirements
  • 2-6 years of experience in the transmission secondary and SCADA environment
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering and CPEng, RPEQ – or working towards
  • Comprehensive understanding of QLD power distribution system
  • Experience in design of SCADA systems and development of functional specifications
