Senior Contract Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Administrator to join our team in Brisbane CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, planning and executing contracts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing sourcing strategies and approaches to market for network and communications, IT and defence type goods and services;
- Planning, drafting, executing and managing a range of contract types spanning communication and network equipment, IT and defence hardware;
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and driving collaboration to ensure on-time performance and compliance;
- Participating in risk identification, mitigation planning and progress reporting;
- Ensuring compliance with supply chain management and program corporate governance policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in contracts management with prior experience in an engineering or project delivery organization being highly desirable;
- A relevant Bachelor's degree in law, commerce or business;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed in contracting and their interdependencies with other project activities (for example, engineering, logistics, finance);
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
