About Chateau and the role:Chateau is a full-service builder-developer delivering projects from site acquisition through to construction.
As our pipeline continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Contract Administrator to join our team and help deliver quality outcomes across a range of exciting projects but mostly focusing on some luxury industrial warehouses we will be building in Bundamba QLD.This is a full-time, on-site role.
You'll be responsible for managing contracts end-to-end — from review and negotiation through to administration and compliance — while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to spec.What You'll Be Doing:Manage head contracts and subcontracts, including review, negotiation, and administrationOversee the procurement process, preparing scopes of work and tender packagesProcess progress claims, variations, and EOTs accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure all contractual obligations are met and documented correctlyLiaise with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project managersMonitor project compliance and cost performanceAssist in commercial decision-making and contract close-outMaintain up-to-date records and provide regular reportingWhat We're Looking For:3–5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industryStrong understanding of contract law, head contracts, and subcontract agreementsProven experience in procurement, cost control, and project complianceExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong attention to detail and time management abilitiesProficiency in construction software (e.g., Jobpac, Aconex, Procore) is an advantageRelevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fieldWhat We Offer:Competitive salary based on experienceLong-term, full-time role with strong project pipelineA positive, team-focused work cultureCareer growth opportunities within a growing businessExposure to well-managed, quality-driven projectsIf you\'re an experienced CA ready to step into a senior role, we\'d love to hear from you
