A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join a FIRST-CLASS integrated legal & financial services firm in Sydney.

As a KEY VIP, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including general office administration, bookkeeping, ensuring legal/corporate compliance, IT/systems maintenance, and client relations.

With a minimum of 4+ years of experience in office/practice management and bookkeeping, you will have outstanding communication and people skills, be deadline driven, proactive, and results-oriented.

You will have the autonomy to make a REAL positive IMPACT on the business, create and implement new systems/processes, and work closely with the directors and colleagues in a close-knit, family-like and friendly environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • General office administration and operations;
  • Bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, billing, trust accounting, reconciliations, roll-overs and cashflows;
  • Ensuring legal/corporate compliance;
  • IT/systems maintenance and updates;
  • Assisting with marketing and events management;
  • Inducting and training staff and assisting with recruitment;
  • Client relations and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in office/practice management and bookkeeping;
  • Experience in the legal industry;
  • Outstanding communication and people skills;
  • Deadline driven, proactive and results-oriented;
  • Highly adaptable and able to multitask;
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills and IT/tech savvy;
  • Willing and able to commit long-term in this role full-time.
