Job Description:

  • As a Principal Engineer, you will lead impactful projects and make your mark in a collaborative environment. You will oversee the design and drafting program for urban development projects.

  • You will be responsible for civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities. You will also coordinate design with architects, landscape architects, and engineers at project meetings.

  • Additionally, you will manage technical reviews and internal QA processes. You will undertake project management, bid support, and leadership duties.

  • Lastly, you will set department goals and develop actionable implementation plans. You will enhance engineering application processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required. Chartered Engineer status with NER accreditation is also necessary.

  • 15+ years of experience in civil design for buildings, urban development, land development, or brownfield projects are preferred.

  • Strong technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes are essential.

  • Understanding of brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management are also necessary.

  • Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project is required.

  • Experience in QA processes and design reviews is also necessary.
