Job Title: Healthcare Professional for Aged Care Role

This is a highly rewarding role that requires providing high-quality medical care to residents. The ideal candidate will have current registration with AHPRA, knowledge of aged care accreditation standards, and be adaptable and passionate about learning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Clinical Care: Assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
  • Wound Management: Managing and dressing wounds, preventing infections, and promoting proper wound healing.
  • Health Care Planning: Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conducting thorough health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Pain Management: Addressing pain concerns and implementing pain management strategies.
  • Emergency Response: Being prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinating the response as necessary.
  • End-of-Life Care: Providing comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
