About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Advisor to provide strategic support to managers across various business units within the Department. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for driving HR best practice, managing complex HR issues, and leading HR initiatives that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level strategic support to managers at all levels, including change management advice and support.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage complex HR issues, including diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism initiatives.
  • Lead HR initiatives that improve workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Support the implementation of the Annual Performance Management Program.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex cases and ensure the best outcome is achieved.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in HR or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a HR partnering role, preferably within the public sector or large, complex organizations.
  • Strategic HR experience, including experience developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to develop strong partnering relationships with all levels of management.
  • Change management and organizational design experience.
  • Management experience and/or a willingness to lead, develop, coach, and provide ongoing support to direct reports and clients.
