HSE Assurance Expert

The role of HSE Assurance Specialist is a vital position within our organization, requiring an individual with strong health and safety expertise to champion key improvements in this critical area.
This specialist will be responsible for driving and supporting the delivery of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) assurance programs aligned with our business and HSE strategies. This includes ensuring conformance with regulatory requirements and improving HSE management system outcomes.
As part of this role, you will liaise with external providers for compliance audits and oversee HSE improvement programs. The successful candidate must have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate performance and drive positive change in HSE culture.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Minimum Diploma in work health and safety or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in work, health, and safety, preferably in large complex organizations
- Experience as an ISO45001/ISO14001 and/or Integrated Management System auditor
This is a national role, requiring occasional travel. We offer a collaborative and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
What You Need To KnowAs the HSE Assurance Specialist, you will contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our HSE Management System, including integration with other management systems and processes. You will also evaluate HSE documents for compliance with workplace health and safety and environmental legislation.
