Job Opportunity: Child Health Information Link

The Sydney Local Health District's Community Health Centres have a long and proud history of delivering care in the community. This esteemed institution is seeking a skilled Manager to lead their Child Health Information Link clinical service within the Community Health Child and Family Health Services Directorate.

This key position offers an exceptional opportunity to develop and improve services intersecting across multiple disciplines, with a focus on operational management, governance, and strategic priorities. As a vital member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team including Allied Health, Nursing, and Administration staff.

The successful candidate will possess a recognised qualification in Child and Family Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Orthoptics, Social Work, or Speech Pathology, with current registration and/or eligibility for professional association membership. Furthermore, evidence of vaccination against specified infectious diseases will be required, as per NSW Health policies, including the Child Safe Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational management of the Child Health Information Link clinical service
  • Development and implementation of strategic priorities and programs of service improvement
  • Leadership and management of a multidisciplinary team
