Business Development Manager

This position drives growth, executes strategies, and oversees operations for the Consumer Products team. The ideal candidate will bring strong licensing industry experience, advanced negotiation skills, and a proactive mindset to deliver sustained commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create overall strategic plans for consumer products business and lead the development and execution of business plans.
  • Analyze financial and market data to determine opportunities for product category growth and licensee expansion.
  • Identify new licensing and product development opportunities with established licensees and source new partners.
  • Establish and manage licensee targets and optimize business through planning and review meetings.
  • Manage contracts and forecasts for assigned categories.
  • Develop key retailer relationships to drive retail buying commitment for Mattel consumer products and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional/global CP, Marketing, and Sales teams to launch new licensed products and align on category strategy.
