Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Management: Administer medications to patients in a safe and effective manner, while ensuring accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and provide individualized care plans to meet their needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in correctional health and medication management.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration: Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Medication Endorsement: Must have a current medication endorsement on your AHPRA registration.
- Correctional Health Experience: Preferred experience working in a correctional health setting or a similar environment.
- Criminal History Check: Must be willing to undergo a National criminal history check.
