About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Alfred Health. As a key member of our nursing workforce, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including risk assessment, mental state assessment, and care planning
  • Consult and liaise with patients, carers, family members, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in the development and implementation of mental health programs and services
Requirements
  • Unrestricted registration as a Nurse through the relevant professional body
  • Extensive experience in mental health nursing, with a strong understanding of patient-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and education
