Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. This is a permanent, part-time position located in Wangaratta.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to create opportunities for people with disabilities to belong and thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to customers with daily tasks and goals
  • Manage a rotating roster with varying shifts, including early mornings and sleepover duties
  • Utilise experience in the disability sector to manage challenging behaviours with confidence and calmness
  • Maintain positive relationships within a team environment
Required Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and International Police Check if applicable

  • Salary and benefits package based on the Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria , with membership to HACSU
