Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Maxitrans, Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality engineered road transport equipment and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on trucks as per repair order instructions
  • Advise the workshop foreman of any additional work required
  • Document all work performed, including cause and correction
  • Ensure customer vehicles are left in a clean and tidy condition
  • Supervise apprentices and provide guidance and support
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Attend dealership and service department meetings and online training
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop area

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate in a relevant field
  • Drivers' licenses equivalent to the role
  • Technical knowledge as per qualification specifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Organizational and time management skills
