Job Title: Truck Mechanic

Midcoast Trucks, a leading integrated trucking solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join their team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on trucks, promoting customer satisfaction, and overseeing the work of apprentice technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on trucks as per repair order instructions
  • Advise the workshop foreman of any additional work required
  • Document all work performed, including cause and correction
  • Ensure customer vehicles are left in a clean and tidy condition
  • Supervise apprentice technicians
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Attend dealership and service department meetings
  • Keep the workshop area clean and organized
Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate
  • Drivers' licenses equivalent to the role
  • Technical knowledge as per qualification specifications
  • Customer service focus
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
