About the RoleThis is a great opportunity to work as a Water Treatment Specialist at one of our esteemed clients in Sydney. As a key member of the aquatic centre team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all plant and equipment are operational and compliant with NSW Health regulations.
- Monitor and record pool plant operations, including filtration plant, chemical dosing, and testing.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance activities as required, following safe method statements and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and data for plant operations and report any issues or concerns to management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in operating and maintaining water treatment plants and equipment within an aquatic centre setting.
- Familiarity with monitoring, recording, and logging pool plant operations, including chemical dosing and testing.
- A current driver's licence and Forklift certification.
- A Working with Children Check (as required by the Child Protection Act 2012).
Bonus Points: If you hold an Aquatic Technical Operator qualification (SISSS00011) or equivalent, that's a definite plus
