We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to join our Database Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing critical applications, mentoring other developers in database solutions, advising business owners on strategic database direction, and having knowledge of NoSQL database mechanisms and usage.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks, including Oracle RDBMS 19c or later, Microsoft SQL Server, PL/SQL, Linux, and scripting skills. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in Agile software development and database team management.

Job Description

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and building critical applications
  • Mentoring other developers in database solutions
  • Advising business owners on strategic database direction and application solution design
  • Having knowledge of and ability to discuss NoSQL database mechanisms and usage
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience as a database development specialist on Oracle RDBMS 19c or later. Recent experience on Microsoft SQL Server desirable.
  • Advanced PL/SQL development skills.
  • Advanced tuning skills in a high-volume Oracle enterprise database.
  • Excellent Linux and scripting skills.
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases.
  • Development team management.
  • Agile software development.
