Farmland Analyst Role

We are seeking an analytical and relationship-oriented individual to join our team as a Farmland Analyst in the Southern Region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Regional Asset Manager to manage and expand a portfolio of farmland investments through new acquisitions and value-add development strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day asset management and portfolio management
  • Financial reporting and commodity marketing
  • Farm mapping and maintenance of farm data and records
  • WH&S compliance and ESG initiatives

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Investment, and/or Management
  • Background or experience in Horticulture, Viticulture, Irrigated and Dryland Cropping industries
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in Agribusiness Management, Asset Management, or Investment Management

Desirable Skills:

  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 desktop applications
  • Financial modelling skills and desire to build competency
  • Basic understanding of property valuation, farm budgeting, mapping, agronomic systems, and the rural property sector
