About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Advisor to join our team at Willis Towers Watson. As a Claims Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing and settling injury liability claims, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective claim resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive portfolio-wide strategies to optimize management and settlement of injury liability claims
  • Manage evidence, including conducting and overseeing factual investigations
  • Provide instructions to and have day-to-day oversight and strategic management of the external legal panel in relation to litigated injury claims
  • Manage the settlement authorization process to obtain financial authorizations from the Principal, Group Workers' Compensation
  • Manage internal stakeholder engagement on individual injury liability claims
  • Assist in the development and delivery of targeted training for internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Personal Injury or Worker's compensation claims handling experience at an insurer or broker
  • Holder of all regulatory licenses, permissions, and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation
  • Seeking highly organized, detail-focused individual who takes pride in their work
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, guidelines, and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships
  • Sound ability to facilitate training and presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Some travel will be required, and you are required to have a valid and appropriate driver's license
  • Law Degree or equivalent formal qualification would be highly regarded but is not a prerequisite
  • Cert IV in general insurance and Diploma qualification (or equivalent experience) would be highly regarded but is not a prerequisite
