We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to support the Bluegum Health Transformation—a statewide initiative revolutionising healthcare through innovative digital solutions and system-wide change.

This project will build an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system fit for purpose for the Tasmanian Health System. As a Recruitment Specialist, you'll deliver end-to-end recruitment services and attract talent needed to bring this transformative vision to life.

  • You will be recruiting to various IT and Digital Transformation specialties that support the Bluegum Health Transformation project.
  • Delivering recruitment which involves advertising roles, participating in recruitment panels, scribing selection reports, and building hiring manager capability to achieve effective workforce outcomes.
  • Working in a partnering role, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver required recruitment outcomes for the project.
  • Thinking outside the box to find top talent required by this project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting job design, including Statements of Duties reviews, analysis of workforce needs, market conditions, and advice on role structures and classification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contemporary recruitment practices, including innovative sourcing strategies, digital platforms, and technology to enhance candidate experience and attract quality talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, determine priorities, manage approaches within established systems and employment frameworks that align with organisational objectives.
  • Proven leadership skills in coaching and mentoring others in applying contemporary recruitment methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in partnering with stakeholders to support job design and analyse workforce needs.
  • Ability to shape role requirements and provide expert advice on role structure, classification, and capability alignment to optimise organisational outcomes.
  • Capacity to lead, coach, and mentor others in the application of contemporary best-practice recruitment methodologies.
