The Role

We are seeking an HR/Recruitment Coordinator to support our operational team with recruitment and HR tasks. The successful candidate will ensure a seamless hiring and onboarding process, key responsibilities include:

  • Posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews to find the best candidates.
  • Managing candidate communications to deliver a positive experience and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Conducting initial phone screenings and preparing offer letters to streamline the hiring process.
  • Assisting with new hire onboarding, training coordination, and documentation to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
  • Supporting HR administration, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with disciplinary actions to uphold employee entitlements.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and preparing reports on recruitment metrics to drive business growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (desired).
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or recruitment coordination, with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Knowledge of modern awards, national employment standards, and employee entitlements to ensure compliance.
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work collaboratively in a team, and approach problem-solving proactively.
