We are seeking a skilled Freight Billing Specialist to join our organization

The Role

This role is situated in a Global Freight company, where the individual will be part of the sea freight customs team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in billing process for accounting systems and external interfaces
  • Support compliance to policies and procedures for the billing process
  • Analyze process and system problems, make effective recommendations, and maintain strict accuracy in processing information
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure open communication channels and effective customer requests are resolved
  • Maintain close contact with customers and know their billing requirements
  • Run billing programs, create manual and non-transportation billings
  • Produce monthly reports and assist in month-end closing

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in MS Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, charts)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in billing or operations in Freight Forwarding
  • CW1 experience
